The Chumash Casino

Not to far from the heart of Solvang, there is a casino called the Chumash Casino. We checked it out. There are many machines and table games and as of this writing they give out a car on Sunday nights. We often visit Solvang with extended family, so this is one of the destinations for parents to check out while their children are being entertained by the rest of the family.

Elverhoj Museum

Located at: 1624 Elverhoy Way, Solvang, CA 93463 (805) 686-1211 Cost: Free for 12 and under and a suggested donation of 5 dollars for adults. There are many great things about the Elverhoj Museum. No matter what a museum has to offer, I am well aware that parents are always thinking about price or cost of each thing they are about to do. The positive thing about this museum is that as of 2015 the museum is free for children twelve and under and only a 5 dollar donation for adults. Therefore our family of 4 got in for only 10 dollars.
